AWAKEN your missional imagination as we celebrate stories of being in the neighborhood!
As followers of Jesus we aspire to be like Jesus in every way, even in how we go about being on mission. And how did Jesus do mission? In John 1:14 it states, “The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” (MSG) As we seek to love the world as Jesus does, we must live and do life near those we feel called to.
Join us at AWAKEN on July 30th and get a glimpse of how several groups of people have intentionally engaged their neighborhood or city. It’s also a great opportunity to meet others who are on a missional journey!
