I’m sure you’ve noticed the weather getting a lot nicer these past few days; the Sun is shining and the temperature is rising, and you know what that means, Summer is almost here! So come and join us for a swim on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday May 25th, when our Friendship Centre pool officially opens up for the hot days ahead. Pack a lunch, bring the kids, splash around, or just lay back and soak up some rays by the pool side.
Memorial Day Weekend Pool Hours:
Sat 11am-4:30pm        Sun 12pm-4:30pm
Mon 11am-4pm
Regular Summer Pool Hours:
Mon-Fri 11am-8:30pm
Sat & Sun 11am-6:30pm
Also, Â if you’re interested in a fun workout, why not rent out one of our paddle boats for only 2 dollars, and work your legs while you paddle around our pond. If you’re lucky, you might spot some of our local wildlife, from turtles to cranes, frogs and geese, and of course FISH!
For those little ones that are scared of falling in and can’t swim, sign them up for Swim Lessons at the Welcome Desk. We offer classes for all skill levels in a fun and safe environment. Our swim instructor will be taking sign-ups for 3 different Summer sessions, and they do fill up. So hurry, and stop in to save a spot for your child.
